>So basically I’m a really big geek.

>Rob counted the hours I spent in front of my laptop this afternoon hacking my pokemon game…somewhere around 8.

I bought a cheapo microsd card at The Source to fit into my Action Replay DSI so that I could copy my save file from my Pokemon Platinum game to my computer so that I could create a new game on the card as well as create some cool hacks for it.

If you’re like Rob, you have no idea what I’m talking about.

My problem was however, that once I converted my file to a .SAV file, I could convert it back to a .DUC file in the right kilobyte size.

If you’re like me, you have no idea what I’m talking about.

That’s right, I have no idea what I was doing, and I think I failed as a minor game hacker. It kinda bites. I tried my best to create some pokemon, but they all ended up as bad eggs, meaning that they were corrupt data. I did however at least figure out how to backup my game files and create multiple games in the same game card. YAY!

In talking with Rob’s ex Mark today, (a fellow pokemon player) he discovered how to create his own trading server on his computer which routes trades he wants in his game to occur on his laptop and bounce back…or something like that. I sent him the pokemon I created to see if he can’t fix them for me:)

Random post though this was, this is in fact what I did today.

And tomorrow is the first ever Fredericton Pride Parade!! Sleep tight all!
