>We can’t move our faces due to at-home nose strips! Yay for incredibly boring Saturday nights with nothing on TV! (Thanks CBC’s Steven and Chris for the idea!:)
>As I sit here at work, I thought I may write a little bit. Not that I will get in trouble everyone, no worries.
So I got here after an icy voyage from Westgyle at around 4ish, and started almost immediately. There are yet more new people to meet as always with me, but someday I am sure that I will remember who they are (or at least their function!). Tonight is a Medical Conference, only around 90 people. For the record, the Premier’s State of the Province is my largest event, topping well over 800. The people came through the front doors and I am the only one working tonight! I greeted everyone as they came in and directed them to the room, but now it’s pretty slow! I was told when I got here that I would be solo for a portion, so I’ve just been walking around (getting my bearings!). And looking for things to do. The Commissioner next to me will be here until the morning, and my boss is here for another couple of minutes and then I’m alone! Fun fun, and only my second day:)
I think shortly I will go and find something to munch. And I think for next time I should bring a book, as my boss has said that during these times they expect me and my counter-part to just relax a bit and read or crackberry or whathaveyou.
I think I’m done folks, so I will talk again soon!
